Some pupils who participated in the recently concluded OYOMESI Job Experience (OJE) Scheme had the privilege of being exposed to some practices involved in rendering veterinary services at Shaleekeen Pet Home and Health Centre, Bodija, Ibadan. During the week-long programme at the veterinary house managed by Dr Yekini Oladokun, the OJE pupils learnt about the following amongst other things;
1. various breeds of dog such as German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler etc.,
2. the feeds they consume,
3. drugs administered and ointment such as Shoo Fly to resist flies especially biting flies,
4. methods of approaching dogs and dealing with aggressive dogs.
